In 2019 I joined Sun Life as a Senior Product Design Manager, managing the design of the secure logged in experience for individual and group member clients.
I led a team of two designers and one UX researcher to envision and design a comprehensive overhaul of the logged-in experience. Together, we developed and validated a transformational North Star vision that played a key role in supporting Sun Life’s initiative to become a digitally enabled, client-centric organization.

Traditionally, insurance services have relied heavily on brokers and service agents, requiring extensive back-and-forth between agents and clients for even simple tasks, such as checking benefits coverage or managing claims. As part of Sun Life’s vision to transform into a digitally enabled, client-centric organization, I led a team of two designers and one researcher in developing a North Star vision for a highly personalized client logged-in experience.
This vision prioritized simplifying client interactions by empowering users with seamless, self-service digital tools, redefining the way insurance services are delivered.
